How to Make Whipped Cream Cheese
Cream cheese is yummy, but it's even better when it's whipped. Whipped cream cheese is great as frosting on a carrot cake, and even better as a filling in a graham cracker crust. Buying whipped cream cheese in the grocery store, however, can cost you some extra money. There really is no need to pay the extra money when you can do it simply yourself.
Things You'll Need
- 240 g of Cream Cheese
- 2-3 Tbs of Milk
- Strawberry syrup (optional)
- Mixing bowl
- Mixer
- Plastic Container
Instructions
-
Soften your cream cheese. The best way to do this is to set your cream cheese on a plate and leave it on your counter for about 1-2 hours.
-
Add your softened cream cheese to your mixing bowl and beat with your mixer until the cream cheese looks whipped.
-
Pour milk 1 tablespoon at a time in to the mixing bowl while mixing until your whipped cream cheese becomes the consistency you like it.
-
Add strawberry syrup. This is an optional step, but a good one. Just drizzle a little bit in at a time until you get it they way you like it. This will add color and flavor to the whipped cream cheese.
-
Store your whipped cream cheese in a plastic container so it will last longer.
