How to Use Pillsbury Dough

Pillsbury has a variety of dough products that help to make your time in the kitchen a little less. You can start with the Pillsbury dough, instead of making some from scratch, and then add your favorite ingredients to make a meal or a delicious snack. One of the snacks you can make is a pepperoni cheese roll. This snack is perfect for football parties or for watching a a movie together as a family.

Things You'll Need

  • 1 pkg. Pillsbury crescent rolls 1 stick of pepperoni 8 oz. cream cheese Cheese grater Baking sheet

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Open your package of Pillsbury crescent rolls. Unravel the Pillsbury dough. It will look like a rectangle but will have pre-cut slits that form triangles. You should have 8 triangles after you separate them.

  3. Soften some cream cheese by leaving it out on the counter for 2 hours or by placing it in the microwave for 30 seconds.

  4. Spread the cream cheese on the top of each triangle, being careful not to get it too close to the edges.

  5. Shred your pepperoni with a cheese shredder, and sprinkle it over the cream cheese. Again, don't get the pepperoni near the edges of the Pillsbury dough.

  6. Roll the Pillsbury dough up starting on the side opposite of the point.

  7. Place the Pillsbury dough on a baking sheet, and place in the oven. Bake for 15 minutes or until the dough becomes golden brown on the top.
