The frozen dough, once thawed, can be used for, for not only pizza, but also a variety of food treats including pigs in a blanket and breadsticks.

Pizza

  1. Remove the pizza dough from the freezer and allow it to thaw in the refrigerator for 12 hours or overnight.

  2. Sprinkle flour over your work surface.

  4. Place the dough in the pan and top with prepared pizza toppings and shredded cheese.

  5. Bake in a preheated 500-degree oven until the dough is golden brown and the cheese has melted.

Pigs in a Blanket

  1. Cut the thawed pizza dough into six even pieces.

  2. Roll out each piece into a 3- by 4-inch rectangle.

  3. Spread approximately 1 tsp. of mustard or ketchup on each rectangle and place a hot dog on a short end of the rectangle.

  4. Roll the hot dog up in the dough and place on a cookie sheet, seam side down.

  5. Bake in a preheated 425 degree Fahrenheit oven for 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown.

Breadsticks

  1. Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.

  2. Cut the dough into 1 to 2 inch strips.

  3. Lift the strips and twist the dough into spirals.

  4. Bake in a preheated 400 degree Fahrenheit oven until golden brown - this will take anywhere between 10 and 14 minutes.
