Your guests will end up asking for your secret.
Things You'll Need
- Chocolate frosting
- Vanilla frosting
- Vanilla flavoring
- Fresh or canned fruit
- Fruit extracts
Instructions
-
Add 1 tsp. of vanilla flavoring to a can of chocolate or vanilla frosting to intensify the flavor. Stir it in with a spatula, or use a hand mixer to speed up the process.
-
Puree a small amount of fresh or canned fruit in a blender or food processor. Raspberries, blueberries and strawberries work well with chocolate or vanilla frosting. If you use fruit with hard seeds, such as plums, peaches, mangoes or cherries, make sure they are pitted before pureeing. Add the canned frosting to the blender and blend the two together.
-
Empty the canned frosting into a bowl and add 1 tbsp. of fruit juice in the flavor of your choice. You can use fresh or store-bought juice. Mix with a hand mixer, then taste. If the flavor is not strong enough, gradually add more juice.
-
Measure 1/2 tsp. of fruit extract and mix in to the can of frosting. Gradually add more to taste.
