Can you make toll house cookies with self rising flour if leave out salt and baking soda?
You should not use self rising flour to make toll house cookies because of its leavening agent content. However, if you must, then make sure you omit adding the baking soda in your ingredients list because self rising flour contains both baking powder and salt. So by using it there's no need to add other raising agents which may interfere with your final product resulting in undesired effects.
