Can you substitute all purpose flour for baking mix easy chicken pot pie?
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup baking mix
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup cut up cooked chicken
- 1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 1/4 cup finely diced onion
- 1/4 cup finely diced celery
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup crispy onions
Instructions
1.) Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2.) In a large bowl whisk together the flour, baking mix and salt.
3.) In a separate bowl whisk together the milk, chicken broth, chicken, peas and carrots, onion, celery, parsley, pepper, cheese, crispy onions
4.) Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
5.) Pour the mixture into a greased 8-inch (20-cm) square baking dish.
6.) Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
7.) Serve immediately.
