Why dont Witnesses celebrate Pancake Day?

Witnesses can celebrate Pancake Day, however, in the UK, Pancake Day or Shrove Tuesday has its roots in the Christian tradition of Lent. Traditionally, Christians would use up rich and indulgent ingredients (such as eggs and butter) in pancakes before the fasting of Lent began on Ash Wednesday. However, Jehovah's Witnesses are not associated with the Christian tradition or observance of religious holidays, so they may choose not to specifically observe or celebrate Shrove Tuesday in that religious context.
