How do you use a checkerboard cake pan?
How to Use a Checkerboard Pan:
1. Prepare your batter. You can use any chocolate or vanilla cake recipe—make 2 batters of contrasting color(s).
2. Pour half the batter carefully into 1 side of the pan. Pour some of the same color batter into the opposite corner.
3. Pour batter of contrasting color into the open 2 quadrants. Pour some into the last corner.
4. Bake according to the recipe. Do not overfill.
5. Cool the cake, glaze it, and enjoy!
