Melting point of a frying pan?
Frying pans are typically made of metals with high melting points, such as stainless steel, cast iron, or aluminum. The melting points of these materials are:
- Cast Iron: 1150 °C (2102 °F)
- Stainless Steel: 1455-1482 °C (2651-2700 °F)
- Aluminum: 660.32 °C (1220.78 °F)
These melting points are well above the temperatures used for frying, which are typically around 200-300 °C.
