Can out of date eggs be incubated?
It is not advisable to incubate out-of-date eggs. The chances of hatching a viable chick from an old egg are very slim, and the hatch rate may be significantly reduced compared to using fresh eggs.
Older eggs may have a lower fertility rate, and the embryo may not develop properly or at all. Additionally, the egg's internal quality deteriorates over time, increasing the risk of bacterial contamination and compromising the health of the developing embryo.
For optimal hatching success, it is generally recommended to use fresh eggs that are no older than 7-10 days old.
