What altitude do you have to be at freeze food?

You don't freeze food based on altitude. Freezing food depends on the temperature, not the altitude.

Here's why:

* Freezing Point: Water freezes at 32° Fahrenheit (0° Celsius). This is the same at sea level or on Mount Everest.

* Altitude and Temperature: Altitude *can* influence temperature, but it's not a direct cause of freezing. Higher altitudes tend to be colder, but this is because of thinner air, not altitude itself.

To freeze food properly, you need a freezer that maintains a temperature of 0°F (-18°C) or below.
