Who invented Wheaties cereal?
Wheaties cereal was invented by John Harvey Kellogg.
While he's best known for creating the breakfast cereal Kellogg's Corn Flakes, he also developed Wheaties (originally called "Wheaten Shreds") as a healthier alternative.
It's important to note that Will Keith Kellogg, John's brother, played a key role in the commercial success of Wheaties. Will was the one who saw the potential in marketing the cereal as a "breakfast of champions" and made it the iconic brand it is today.
