How to Revive Stale Bread (5 Steps)
Most of us have had to deal with stale bread at one time or another. While many of us may have simply thrown out the stale bread and replaced it with fresh bread, others have their own unique methods of refreshing hardened and dried out loaves, rolls, and slices. There are several ways to do this, but here is one technique that is not only fast, but also yields a soft result.
Things You'll Need
- Stale bread
- Heavy duty paper towels
- 1/4 cup of water, milk, or soy milk
- A microwave-safe platter
Making Stale Bread Fresh Again

Moisten a paper towel with water, milk, or soy milk.

Wrap the bread in the paper towel.

Place bread on a microwave-safe platter.

Heat in the microwave on high for 15 seconds.

Remove from the microwave and unwrap the bread to see if it is moist enough. If not, repeat for another 15 seconds, or until you are pleased with the results.
