How long has Cauliflower been around for?
The history of cauliflower cultivation can be traced back over 2,000 years. Ancient Roman records reference a cabbage-like vegetable called "cyma," which is believed to be an early form of cauliflower. The plant was originally native to the Mediterranean region and parts of Asia, and it was not until the 16th century that it was introduced to Western Europe. From there, cauliflower cultivation spread throughout the rest of the world, becoming a popular vegetable due to its versatility and its ability to thrive in various climates.
