How to Make Cannoli Dip (6 Steps)

Ever want all the sweet, tasty goodness of a cannoli without the soggy shell? This cannoli dip is a great alternative. Scoop it into waffle cones, spread it over fresh fruit slices — it's heavenly paired with strawberries — or even serve it as a straight-up dip with cinnamon-and-sugar pita chips.

Things You'll Need

  • 8 oz. soft cream cheese
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup confectioner's sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup mini-size semisweet chocolate morsels

Instructions

  1. Combine one 8-oz. package of soft cream cheese and one stick of softened unsalted butter.

  2. Add 3/4 cup confectioner's sugar, then cream the mixture.

  3. Add 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract and mix.

  4. Add 3/4 cup chocolate morsels and mix well.

  5. Shape into a ball, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least two hours.

  6. One hour before serving, roll the cannoli ball in 3/4 cup chopped pecans.
