Will heat flow into the soup or out of it?
Please give me more information! To determine if heat will flow into or out of the soup, I need to know:
* The temperature of the soup: Is it hot or cold?
* The temperature of its surroundings: Is the soup in a hot kitchen, a cold refrigerator, or somewhere in between?
Once I have this information, I can apply the principle that heat always flows from a region of higher temperature to a region of lower temperature.
