How to flavor food in a low sodium diet or no salt diet

Things You'll Need

  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder.
  • 1/2 tsp of dried thyme leaves.
  • 1/2 tsp of onion powder.
  • 1/2 tsp of paprika.
  • 1/2 tsp of ground celery seed.
  • 1/2 tsp of pepper.
  • 1/2 tsp of dry mustard.
  • Empty seasoning shaker.

Instructions

  1. Pour all herbs above in shaker.

  2. Shake to mix. Make sure to cover top to avoid mess.

  3. Store in dry place.

  4. Use mixture in place of salt in dips, soups, stews, and meat mixtures.
