Can you take a 101 oz can of olive oil in your checked baggage on flight?
The current Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulation permits passengers to carry liquids, gels, and aerosols packed in containers up to 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) in their carry-on bags. However, these items must be placed inside a single, quart-sized (or smaller) clear plastic bag, and you are limited to one bag per passenger.
Due to the quantity, a 101 oz can of olive oil exceeds this limit and you would not be allowed to bring it on a flight in your carry-on baggage.
It's important to note that the TSA's regulations for carry-on baggage are subject to change, so it's always a good idea to check the latest guidelines before packing your bags.
