Snack Ideas for Kids Using Wheat Thins
Kids love salty, crunchy snacks, and it's unfortunate that so many of those -- potato chips spring to mind -- are high in fat and salt. Nabisco's Wheat Thins are something of an exception to that broad rule, in part because they're baked or popped rather than fried. Aside from their relatively modest levels of fat and sodium, the little crackers also offer the benefits of whole grains. Their sturdiness and crisp texture makes them a suitable base for many kid-friendly snacks.
Ants on a Raft

Getting kids to eat a fresh vegetable can sometimes be a challenge, which is one reason for the enduring popularity of "ants on a log." Celery on its own might be a tough sell, but when paired with kid-friendly peanut butter and raisins it's a slam-dunk. When feeding your kids whole grains is the goal, the same logic applies.
