Is home made red sauce and meatballs left out all night still edible?
No. According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), perishable food, such as meat or meat sauce, should not be left out at room temperature for more than two hours. After that, bacteria can start to grow and multiply rapidly. Eating foods that have been sitting out for too long can cause foodborne illness with symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. So it's better to err on the side of caution and throw out the sauce and meatballs.
