What is the recipe for Jell-O jigglers?
Ingredients
- 1 package (6 oz.) Jell-O gelatin, any flavor
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup fruit juice or soda, optional
- 1/4 cup ice cubes
- Whipped cream, for garnish
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine Jell-O gelatin, boiling water, and cold water. Stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.
2. Stir in optional fruit juice or soda.
3. Add ice cubes and stir until melted.
4. Pour into a 9x13-inch pan or individual molds.
5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
6. When ready to serve, cut into squares or cubes and garnish with whipped cream.
Tips
- To make layered jigglers, prepare each flavor of gelatin according to package directions. Pour the first flavor into the pan and refrigerate until firm. Then, repeat with the second flavor, and so on.
- For a fun party treat, try making jigglers in different shapes, such as stars, hearts, or flowers.
- Jigglers can also be made with plain yogurt or cottage cheese instead of water. This makes them a healthier alternative to traditional jigglers.
