You dont have potatoes so why do you potato bugs?
Potato bugs, also known as Jerusalem crickets or child-of-the-earth, actually have nothing to do with potatoes. Even though "potato bug" is part of their common name, they do not exclusively feed on potatoes. These insects are omnivorous and feed on a wide variety of organic matter, including decaying plants, vegetation, small insects, and even other insects. The name might be a misnomer, or might reference the pests commonly found on potatoes, such as aphids or Colorado potato beetles.
