How to Make Blender Salsa
You'll never want to buy salsa in a jar once you try this blender salsa recipe. With several fresh ingredients, you'll have an authentic salsa that could be served with chips or warmed to serve with tacos or grilled chicken.
Things You'll Need
- 4 ripe roma tomatoes
- 1 jalepeno, seeds removed
- 1/2 sweet onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup cilantro
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin powder
- Dash of salt
- Dash of pepper
Preparation for Blender Salsa
-
Combine tomato, jalepeno, onion, cilantro, lime juice and olive oil in the blender on the pulse setting. If like your salsa chunky, just a couple of pulses will do at this point.

Add chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper and pulse a couple more times. Taste the salsa at this point to see if more salt is needed.
-
Remove salsa from blender and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.
