I had a blister-like thing on my foot only not blister and when pulled it out gelatin-like solid came what is it?
The gelatin-like solid you removed from your foot is likely sebum, a waxy or oily substance produced by your sebaceous glands. Sebum helps to keep your skin moisturized and protected. These glands are found all over your body, including your feet. Sometimes, sebum can accumulate and form a small bump or cyst on your skin. This is commonly called a sebaceous cyst.
These cysts are usually benign and not a cause for concern. However, if they become large or painful, you may want to see a doctor to have them removed.
Here are some tips for preventing sebaceous cysts:
* Keep your skin clean and dry.
* Avoid wearing tight clothing that can trap moisture.
* Use a moisturizer that is non-comedogenic, meaning that it won't clog your pores.
* See a doctor if you have any concerns about sebaceous cysts.
