When were milking stools invented?
Milking stools have been in existence since at least the Middle Ages. They are commonly depicted in 14th- to 16th-century woodcuts, and there is evidence that similar furniture pieces were found in ancient Greek and Roman art, particularly in the sculpture on the Parthenon in Athens.
