What country produces the most silver?

Peru is the number one producer of silver.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, Peru produced 152 million ounces of silver in 2021, making it the world's largest producer of the metal. Mexico and China follow with 138 million ounces and 106 million ounces, respectively.

Peru also accounts for the largest share of the world's silver reserves, with about 18% of the total.
