How to order from Chipotle - in person (3 Steps)
Chipotle Mexican Grill opened its doors in 1993 and ever since has been working to consistently maintain what they call "food integrity." Chipotle makes use of sustainably grown foods and supports family farmers. You can order your food and watch it made fresh as you are asked exactly what you want on your burrito, taco or salad. The ingredients are always fresh and locally grown when practical and Chipotle is gaining ground in serving only meat and dairy with zero antibiotics or added hormones.
Instructions
-
Order from a choice of burrito in a flour tortilla or bowl, soft or crispy tacos, or salad. The burrito bowl is the contents of the burrito served in a bowl. The tacos are served in threes. The salad base is a bed of romaine lettuce instead of the rice and you can add any of the other ingredients, then topped with a chipotle-honey vinaigrette.
-
Pick your ingredients. The base ingredients include choices of cilantro lime rice and pinto or vegetarian black beans. You can add fajita vegetables, sauteed green pepper and red onion. The meat choices are braised carnitas, barbacoa, or grilled chicken or steak marinated in adobo. The salsas include mild fresh tomato, medium roasted chili-corn, medium tomatillo-green chili and hot tomatillo-red chili. The cheese is a blend of white cheddar and jack cheeses. You can finish with lettuce, sour cream and guacamole.
-
Add a bag of fresh lime tortilla chips and a drink to your order at the end of the line and pay for your meal. You can choose a fountain drink, bottled juice, bottled beer or freshly brewed iced tea.
