How to Reheat Chinese Takeaway
Chinese leftovers make a sinfully tasty addition to almost any meal, at any time of day or night. Reheat Chinese takeout only once and within two days of placing it in the refrigerator.
Things You'll Need
- Microwavable plastic container
- Instant-read thermometer
Instructions
-
Empty the desired portion of food into a microwavable plastic container. Use a wide container so your food spreads flat and heats evenly.
-
Microwave your container of Chinese food for 1 minute without a lid. Stir the contents after 1 minute and turn over any large pieces of meat or dumplings.
-
Return the container to the microwave and heat the food for another minute. Check the temperature in the center of the food; when it reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit, it's ready. Continue heating the food in 10 second increments if needed.
