If there is no mold how do you know when an orange bad?
There are a few signs that an orange is bad without mold:
- Smell: If the orange smells musty or sour, it's likely gone bad.
- Texture: A bad orange will feel soft and mushy, rather than firm and plump.
- Color: A healthy orange should be bright orange in color. If the orange is starting to turn brown or green, it's likely past its prime.
- Taste: If the orange tastes bitter or sour, it's probably bad.
