Instructions

1. Stick large taper candles in the mouth of each bottle for campy looking candle holders. As the tapers melt, the wax will dribble down the sides of the bottle for a romantic, artistic look.

2. Fill empty wine bottles with dish or hand soap. Replace the cork with a pump for easy dispensing.

3. Fill bottles with sand and securely attach a flat board on top. You now have a coffee table. The sand will prevent the bottles from toppling under the weight of the table top.

4. Turn wine bottles upside down and place them in the soil of your garden. With the brightly colored glass, wine bottles make eye-catching lawn ornaments.

5. Use empty wine bottles as vases for several flowers. Thick-stalked flowers like gerber daisies, orchids and roses create the most dramatic effect.

6. Fill empty wine bottles with olive oil, herbs, rice, vinegar and other kitchen staples. New corks are ideal for storage. Keep them on display in your kitchen rather than banishing them to the back of your pantry.

7. Remove labels from wine bottles and fill them with water and highlighter pens. Place wine bottles in front of a backlight. The result will be a wildly psychedelic light show.
