What is Blanc de Noir?
Blanc de Noir is a type of sparkling wine produced using black grapes but made in the same way as white wine. The skins of black grapes are typically removed very quickly after harvesting to prevent the wine from taking on a red color. The resulting wine is a light, refreshing sparkling wine with a delicate pink hue and fruity flavors. Blanc de Noir is often produced from Pinot Noir grapes but can also be made from other red grape varieties such as Gamay or Grenache.
