What is vine server?
A Vine Server is a dedicated server application that runs the Vine software framework. It provides real-time video transmission, processing and storage capabilities for Vine's video sharing service, allowing users to upload, watch and share short-form videos. The Vine Server consists of a set of microservices that work together to facilitate video encoding, transcoding, caching and streaming. These services include the upload server, video processor, video streamer and storage service. The Vine Server is designed to handle large amounts of video traffic, and can scale to support the needs of a growing user base.
