Can you use red wine that is two weeks opened for cooking?
It depends on how the red wine has been stored.
Here is a good rule of thumb:
Unopened:
2-3 years for inexpensive reds
5-10 years for fine wines
Opened (with cork):
3-5 days in the fridge
1-3 days at room temperature
Opened (without cork):
1-3 days in the fridge
Same day at room temperature
