How do you make semolina halva?

Ingredients:

- 1 cup semolina flour

- 1/2 cup sugar

- 1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter)

- 1/4 cup water

- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

- 1/8 teaspoon saffron strands

- chopped nuts for garnish (such as almonds, pistachios, and cashews)

Instructions:

1. In a heavy-bottomed pan, melt the ghee over medium heat.

2. Add the semolina flour and roast it, stirring constantly, until it turns golden brown.

3. Add the sugar and water, and stir well.

4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the halva has thickened.

5. Add the cardamom powder and saffron strands, and stir well.

6. Garnish with chopped nuts and serve warm.

Tips:

- To make a richer halva, you can use more ghee.

- For a sweeter halva, you can add more sugar.

- You can also add other ingredients to your halva, such as raisins, dates, or coconut.
