What does the amount of cream in milk mean?

There is no such thing as the amount of cream in milk. Cream is a dairy product made from the high-fat layer that rises to the top of milk after it has been left to stand. The amount of cream that rises to the top of milk depends on the fat content of the milk, with whole milk producing more cream than skim milk.
