How can I clean a Culligan water system tank?
Cleaning your Culligan water system is important for maintaining the quality of your water.
You will need the following materials:
- A clean bucket
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- A soft cloth
Instructions:
1. Turn off the water supply to the Culligan water system.
2. Disconnect the water line from the tank.
3. Remove the tank from the base.
4. Pour 1 gallon of white vinegar into the tank.
5. Let the vinegar sit in the tank for 30 minutes.
6. Rinse the tank thoroughly with water.
7. Fill the tank with 1 gallon of water and 1 cup of baking soda.
8. Let the baking soda solution sit in the tank for 30 minutes.
9. Rinse the tank thoroughly with water.
10. Reconnect the water line to the tank.
11. Turn on the water supply to the Culligan water system.
*Note: If you have a Culligan water system with a filter, you will need to replace the filter after cleaning the tank.*
