How to Open a Champagne Bottle with a Plastic Cork
Champagne and other sparkling wines have always been associated with important and festive events. The beverage became internationally famous when it was served at the coronation of French kings in Reims. Formerly a luxury item only to be enjoyed by the privileged classes, champagne is now are sold in a wide range of price points to suit almost every budget. Champagne bottles have two types of corks: natural and plastic. The process of opening a champagne bottle with a plastic cork may be unfamiliar, but it is not difficult.
Instructions

Remove the foil wrapping.

Remove the wire cage securing the cork to the rim. Twist the loop open while holding onto the cork.

Twist the cork while pulling it out of the bottle. Hold onto the cork firmly when you hear the characteristic popping sound.
