What is a Napoleon Cocktail?
Napoleon Cocktail
Ingredients
* 2 ounces cognac
* 1 ounce dry vermouth
* 1/2 ounce lemon juice
* 1/2 ounce simple syrup
* 1 dash orange bitters
* 1 twist of lemon, for garnish
Instructions
1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice.
2. Stir until well chilled, about 30 seconds.
3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
4. Garnish with a twist of lemon.
Variations
* For a sweeter cocktail, add 1/4 ounce of grenadine.
* For a more tart cocktail, add 1/4 ounce of lime juice.
* For a sparkling cocktail, top with prosecco or champagne.
