What is a baby starfish called?
A baby starfish is called a larva.
Starfish don't lay eggs in the traditional sense. They release sperm and eggs into the water, and fertilization happens externally. The fertilized egg develops into a free-swimming larva, which eventually settles to the seafloor and transforms into a juvenile starfish.
