How to Season Crab Legs

Crab legs add a lot to any summer cookout and are especially good when seasoned according to an old-fashioned Maryland recipe.

Things You'll Need

  • Old Bay easoning
  • Lemons
  • Garlic
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Crab legs
  • Large pot

Instructions

  1. Fill the pot with cold water. Squeeze in the juice of one or two lemons.

  2. Take the can of Old Bay seasoning and add about half of the can to the water.

  3. When the water has boiled, place the crab legs in the pot and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.

  4. Mince a clove of garlic. Melt the butter and combine with the garlic and a dash of salt. Use the butter for dipping.
