What vegetable dish should you serve with chicken bacon and brie?
Asparagus with almonds and parmesan:
Ingredients:
* 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 1/4 cup slivered almonds
* 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
* Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the asparagus, olive oil, almonds, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
3. Spread the asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet.
4. Roast in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until tender.
Additional tips:
- For a more flavorful dish, use fresh asparagus.
- If you don't have slivered almonds, you can use chopped nuts instead.
- You can also add other vegetables to the dish, such as broccoli or carrots.
