How to Reheat Roast Chicken (4 Steps)

Roast your chicken at home or buy one ready-roasted at the grocery store for a convenient and tasty entree. Simply split the chicken into the standard parts and each family member can have his favorite. Sometimes a chicken purchased at the store or the chicken you cooked yourself needs to be reheated. Warmed carefully, your reheated chicken can be as flavorful as it was when it was first cooked.

Things You'll Need

  • Baking pan
  • Aluminum foil
  • Water
  • Instant-read thermometer

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Line a baking pan with aluminum foil and place your chicken inside. Sprinkle two or three tablespoons of water on the chicken to provide a humid steam atmosphere and cover the pan with its lid or additional foil.

  3. Bake the chicken until it has a safe internal temperature of 165 F.

  4. Serve immediately.
