How does energy get from the sun into your steak?
The sun's energy reaches the Earth in the form of light. Plants absorb this light during the process of photosynthesis, converting it into chemical energy that is stored in the plant's tissues. When animals eat plants, they consume this chemical energy and use it to power their own bodies. When humans eat animals, they in turn consume the chemical energy that was stored in the animal's tissues.
So, the sun's energy gets into your steak through the process of photosynthesis and the food chain.
