What cold water fish can you keep in a goldfish bowl?
You should not keep any cold water fish in a goldfish bowl.
Here's why:
* Goldfish bowls are too small. Goldfish need a lot of space to swim and thrive, and bowls simply don't provide that.
* Poor water quality. The small size of a bowl makes it very difficult to maintain good water quality. Goldfish produce a lot of waste, and without proper filtration, the water quickly becomes toxic.
* Limited oxygen. Bowls lack adequate surface area for oxygen exchange, which is essential for fish to breathe.
It's much better to keep goldfish (or any cold water fish) in a properly sized aquarium with a filter, heater, and appropriate decorations.
Ethical treatment of pets is crucial. Please choose the best environment for your fish's health and happiness.
