How many koi fish in a ten gallon tank?

You should not keep any koi fish in a 10-gallon tank.

Here's why:

* Koi are large: Koi are a type of carp and grow to be quite large, often reaching several feet in length. They need a significant amount of space to thrive.

* Koi are active: Koi are active swimmers and require a large, spacious tank to move around freely.

* Koi need filtration: Koi produce a lot of waste, which requires a powerful filtration system. A 10-gallon tank is simply too small to accommodate the necessary filtration.

* Koi are social: Koi are social fish and prefer to live in groups. A 10-gallon tank is too small to comfortably house even a small group of koi.

Instead of a 10-gallon tank, consider a pond or a very large aquarium (at least 100 gallons) for koi.
