How full should a fish tank be?
Ideally, a fish tank should be filled to about 80-90% of its capacity. Leaving some space at the top allows for oxygen exchange and prevents water from splashing out when the fish swim or jump. Additionally, it provides room for equipment like filters and heaters, which may need to be adjusted or maintained periodically.
