How long should you cook rotiserie chicken?
The cooking time for a rotisserie chicken depends on its weight and the temperature of your rotisserie.
Here's a general guideline:
* 3-4 pounds: 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes
* 4-5 pounds: 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes
* 5-6 pounds: 1 hour and 30 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes
Important tips:
* Check the internal temperature: The chicken is done when the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part of the thigh.
* Use a meat thermometer: This is the most accurate way to ensure the chicken is cooked through.
* Don't overcrowd the rotisserie: Give the chicken space to rotate properly.
* Don't overcook: Overcooked chicken will be dry and tough.
For more accurate cooking times, check the instructions on your rotisserie oven or refer to the recipe you're using.
