How do you throw away chicken grease?
1. Let the grease cool. Hot grease can cause burns, so it's important to let it cool down completely before handling it.
2. Pour the grease into a heat-resistant container. A metal can or glass jar works well.
3. Seal the container and place it in the trash. Be sure to seal the container tightly so the grease doesn't leak out.
4. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. This will help to remove any residual grease and prevent it from spreading to other surfaces.
Here are some additional tips for disposing of chicken grease:
* If you have a lot of grease to dispose of, you may want to take it to a recycling center. Many communities have recycling programs that accept cooking oil and grease.
* If you don't have a recycling center nearby, you can also compost chicken grease. Just add it to your compost pile along with other organic materials, such as food scraps and yard waste.
* Avoid pouring grease down the drain. Grease can build up in your pipes and cause clogs.
