Did the pilgrims eat sandwiches in Thanksgiving?
There is no evidence to suggest that the Pilgrims ate sandwiches during Thanksgiving. The first known mention of the word "sandwich" dates back to the 18th century, long after the Pilgrim's first Thanksgiving. Instead, the Pilgrims would have likely eaten traditional English fare consisting of meat, fish, vegetables, and bread.
