When do dwarf hamsters go into heat?

Dwarf hamsters are not known to go into heat, as they are considered 'induced ovulators'. Female dwarf hamsters are continually capable of producing offspring when mated with a male, but will only enter estrus (the state of sexual receptivity) when certain conditions are met. These include the presence of a sexually mature male, suitable environmental conditions such as daylight length and temperature, and an adequate supply of food.
